KCS l\u00e8ve $4 millions au titre d'obligations communautaires, appel\u00e9es \u00ab KCS Bonds \u00bb, afin de contribuer \u00e0 la construction d'un lyc\u00e9e pour sa communaut\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depuis ses d\u00e9buts en tant que petite \u00e9cole de quartier, la KCS s'est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e et compte aujourd'hui plus de 500 \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Il ne fait aucun doute que le programme de la maternelle \u00e0 la 4e de KCS forme d\u2019excellents \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Mais surtout, le lyc\u00e9e offrira aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves de KCS la possibilit\u00e9 de poursuivre leurs \u00e9tudes secondaires dans un \u00e9tablissement o\u00f9 ils se sentent comme chez eux, tout en proposant une nouvelle option scolaire ind\u00e9pendante aux familles du West End de Toronto.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Qu'est-ce qu'une obligation KCS ?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Une obligation KCS est une obligation communautaire, c'est-\u00e0-dire un pr\u00eat r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9 qu'une association \u00e0 but non lucratif ou un organisme caritatif peut \u00e9mettre pour financer un projet qu'il m\u00e8ne. Tout particulier ou toute institution peut acheter une obligation KCS et percevoir chaque ann\u00e9e un taux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat fixe. Les int\u00e9r\u00eats sont vers\u00e9s chaque ann\u00e9e, et le capital est rembours\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00e9ch\u00e9ance. Les obligations KCS peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9tenues dans des comptes b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant d'avantages fiscaux, notamment les comptes d'\u00e9pargne libre d'imp\u00f4t (CELI) et les r\u00e9gimes enregistr\u00e9s d'\u00e9pargne-retraite (REER). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce mod\u00e8le de financement est tout \u00e0 fait adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 KCS, car il lui a permis de d\u00e9finir ses propres conditions en fonction de sa situation financi\u00e8re, tout en lui donnant la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019impliquer sa communaut\u00e9 et de remercier ses soutiens.
