Redwood Park Communities

Barrie, Ont.-based Redwood Park Communities plans to use the social power of community bonds to diversify their financing streams to add more affordable housing to their community. The organisation builds supportive, hopeful housing with wraparound services tailored to the needs of its residents. Redwood Park Communities also runs a furniture bank, helping Barrie households get access to the furniture they need to make a house a home, and runs an annual YIMBY — ”Yes! In my backyard” — week, raising awareness and support for new affordable housing.
