What to expect
We offer quarterly intakes for non-profits, charities, and co-operatives who wish to explore the feasibility of raising capital through community bonds.
With Tapestry’s support, you’ll work through exercises to determine whether community bonds are right for your project, including:
- Understanding how your organization would use the bond funds
- Developing a financial model that supports community capital
- Exploring potential bond terms
- Conducting community consultations to determine investors’ appetite and garner early community support for your project
The feasibility study process takes 2.5 months, after which you’ll be well-equipped to decide whether your community bond raise is feasible, and whether you’ll move forward to structuring your bond raise with Tapestry’s support.
How to apply:
Review the eligibility criteria below, submit an intake form, and we’ll reach out via email to set up a discovery call to learn more. After this call, you can expect to complete a detailed assessment form to evaluate your project’s feasibility and attend a meet & greet session with our campaigns team.

Pricing
$5,000 + tax
The upfront cost of the feasibility study is $5,000. You can earn up to a $5,000 credit towards structuring the bond if you complete all exercises within 2.5 months as planned. The $5,000 fee structure is at cost for Tapestry and we intentionally keep our cost low in this stage to make it accessible for all organizations to apply (we’re a non-profit too!).
